The 2022 Spelling Challenge is an extended activity of the 2022 Online Summer Class that started on June 5 and ended last August 21, 2022. Its goal was to motivate the students to learn new words so they could expand their vocabulary and become more fluent speakers.
The words from the spelling challenge were obtained from the summer class, which was a 12-week series of weekend lectures covering various themes for all levels.
Consequently, the spelling contest acted as a sort of self-assessment of how well students remembered the vocabulary taught in class.
