Our Story
I began MET Eikaiwa Tutor in 2018 with a simple dream: to make English learning fun, personal, and confidence-building. At first, I taught private one-on-one and small group lessons online for both children and adults. What started at my desk with just a few students soon grew, and as more learners joined, I invited teachers from around the world to work alongside me. Their talent and energy gave MET new life and new possibilities.
With the support of my family, I was able to take the next big step in 2023—opening our first physical English Conversation School in Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture. It was a milestone I will always treasure, because it allowed me to bring together the flexibility of online lessons with the warmth of face-to-face learning.
Today, MET is no longer just my story—it is our story. As a school, we provide programs that help students grow not only in English, but also in creativity, confidence, and lifelong learning:
- English Immersion – developing natural communication through full engagement in English
- STEAM Learning – exploring science, technology, engineering, arts, and math in English
- Eiken Exam Preparation – guiding students to achieve measurable results and lasting success
