OUR STORY

More Than English.
We Help Learners Find Their Voice.

Since 2018, MET has helped children, students, and adults build confidence through personalized English education. Every lesson is designed around the learner—not around a fixed textbook or one-size-fits-all program.

WHO WE ARE

Personal Guidance. Meaningful Communication. Confident Growth.

MET—My Eikaiwa Tutor—began as a small online English tutoring service with one simple belief: every learner deserves personal guidance, meaningful communication, and the confidence to grow.

Today, we support learners from early childhood through adulthood through carefully planned online and face-to-face lessons. Each program is adjusted to the learner’s age, level, pace, interests, personality, and goals.

Whether learning begins with first words or advanced communication, we guide every learner one step at a time.

OUR TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

English Is Not Only Something to Study.
It Is Something to Use, Share, and Grow Through.

We place the learner at the center of every lesson. Students are supported to ask questions, make mistakes safely, think independently, express ideas, listen to others, and gradually become confident communicators.

Respect the Individual

Lessons respond to the learner’s age, level, pace, personality, interests, and goals.

Learn Through Meaningful Use

English is practiced through conversation, stories, projects, role-play, and real-life communication.

Build Confidence Safely

Learners are encouraged to try, revise, ask questions, and speak without fear of mistakes.

Grow Beyond Language

Lessons also nurture curiosity, creativity, independence, cultural understanding, and connection.

THE MET DIFFERENCE

Accuracy and Creativity Developed Together

Structured instruction and creative communication work together so learners understand how English works and learn how to use it with confidence.

Strong Foundations

Progressive phonics, spelling patterns, vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, and sentence formation are taught step by step.

Practical Communication

Guided conversation, storytelling, role-play, discussion, presentations, and real-life scenarios make English meaningful.

Clear Progress Goals

Age- and level-appropriate “Can Do” objectives help teachers plan, monitor development, and explain progress clearly.

OUR COMMITMENT

Mission, Vision, and Goal

Mission

To provide high-quality, engaging, and personalized education that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and cultural understanding—empowering every learner to communicate with confidence in English.

Vision

To become a trusted language-learning community where students gain strong English ability, confidence, and practical skills for today’s global society.

Goal

To provide supportive learning that helps every student improve steadily, develop independence, build a global mindset, and enjoy lifelong learning.

A MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER

A Lesson Should Be a Place Where Learners Feel Heard, Supported, and Capable of Growth.

“Distance should not limit a learner’s opportunity. Online lessons can provide consistent guidance, personal attention, and a safe space to speak, make mistakes, ask questions, and discover what is possible.”

MET began with the belief that English learning should be personal, practical, encouraging, and connected to each learner’s life. That belief continues to guide every program we build.
